Harry Potter books a place at Sothebys (from The Evening News):

Harry Potter collectors’ items are set to fetch thousands of pounds at a London auction next week.

Between £8000 and £10,000 is expected to be bid for a first-edition presentation copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone inscribed by the author, who wrote the book while living in Edinburgh. It is one of only 500 copies which were printed. Other books for sale include a copy of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets with a personalised dedication page featuring a letter from JK Rowling to a fan. It is expected to raise between £3000 and £5000. Deluxe first editions of the first four books of the series - two of them signed by the author - are also being sold, together with a signed first edition of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which features an original watercolour print by artist Cliff Wright.

The sale will be at Sothebys in Bond Street, London, on July 12 at 10.30am.

Guess That Book

Harry was not aware of releasing George, all he knew was that a second later both of them were sprinting at Malfoy. He had completely forgotten the fact that all the teachers were watching: All he wanted to do was cause Malfoy as much pain as possible.
