In response to the many emails which we received regarding Daniel Radcliffe’s birthday; in a “Today” show interview which took place on 12 November 2001, the actor stated that he turned 12 on July 23. The rumour that his birthday was 31 July (the same as Harry Potter and JK Rowling) was later revealed to be a publicity stunt. 🙂
