THE WAIT CONTINUES…: J.K. Rowling’s fifth Harry Potter book, The Order of the Phoenix, won’t arrive in bookstores until June 2003, USA Today reports. Rowling apparently is still writing the novel. Hurry up, already!

And yet another Potter-inspired craze comes to us from USAToday.com: Adult authors writing books for kids. Quotage:

This fall, a number of prominent writers – Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Chabon, Isabel Allende, Carl Hiaasen and Clive Barker, among others – are publishing novels for 10- to 14-year-olds.

So, will Frank McCourt be updating Oliver Twist then? 🙂
