Box-office races are like a good Quidditch match: Just leave it to Harry Potter and his trusty Nimbus 2000 to wipe up the competition.

Harry Potter has reclaimed the number one spot in the UK book charts.

The Hogwarts Express made a secret journey from its base in Carnforth to London for filming of the second Harry Potter movie. Harry was seen getting on the express on Platform 9 3/4 at King’s Cross in the first film – and now the steam engine is in London to film the sequel.

Fans of the Harry Potter trading card game have the opportunity to chat live with the Harry Potter experts at Wizards of the Coast. The chats, held on a bi-weekly basis, will take place every other Wednesday, with the next one scheduled for 20 February at 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. PST.

Family and friends of a university lecturer reckon his name is a real hoot – because he shares it with Harry Potter’s pet owl. Zoologist Berthold Hedwig is thought to be the only person in Britain to have the same surname as the owl who delivers mail to Harry.
