The Moscow Times reports that "Tanya Grotter and Her Magical Double Bass" has been deemed by J. K. Rowling's lawyers, her Russian publishers and Warner Bros to be plagiarism and have threatened court action unless the book is withdrawn by 10 November. According to the article, Dmitry Yemets, the creator of Grotter, says instead that the two books are "completely different ... one with its core in English culture and the other in Russian."
